Crystal Murillo Ulloa
Crystal Ulloa is a multifaceted studio artist, design production assistant, and set dresser based in Los Angeles, California. With a passion for visual storytelling, she utilizes creativity and technical skill across various disciplines, transforming ideas into vibrant realities.
As a studio artist, Crystal explores themes of identity, stories, death and morality. She uses her skills as a painter to render oil portraits for her own personal practice and as a freelance artist in her community. Her work has been showcased in the John F. Kennedy Memorial Library in collaboration with The Autry Museum of the American West and The Ronald H. Silverman Fine Arts Gallery at Cal State LA where she attended and earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts.
In the realm of production, Crystal thrives as a Design Production Assistant, collaborating with talented teams to bring projects to life. Her attention to detail and organizational skills ensure smooth operations on set. She applies her creative techniques while assisting the creative director.
As a set dresser, Crystal has a keen eye for design, crafting immersive environments that enhance narrative and visual impact. Her ability to communicate well and be organized in a fast paced environment with artistic vision has made her a valuable asset on various projects, including Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards and MTV’s The Challenge.
